Understand how singing works— the practical mechanics every singer needs to know to maintain a reliable voice
Expand your technique— better breath, belting, runs, range, volume & tone with exercises every week for your genre

Meet Your Instructor
McKenna Troy brings a rare combination of technical expertise and real-world versatility to every class. With experience performing in bands, musicals, operas, and cathedrals internationally, she understands how the voice works in every setting—and how to teach those skills in a clear, accessible way.
McKenna holds a vocal performance degree from Northwestern University and is a member of Vocology in Practice International (ViP) and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). She specializes in helping adults build reliable technique, expand their range, and develop vocal confidence with practical, evidence-informed coaching— all while having fun and building connections with the people around them.

Final performance: Sunday May 31st
Makeup class for any Sunday absences: Wednesday May 27th, 7:00PM
We expect that students may have a conflict with a Sunday class. Due to this, we offer an included, optional makeup class so students don’t miss instruction time.

Feeling nervous is completely normal. The structure of the course builds confidence week by week— many of our students are beginners, and solos are never required.

Solo work is available to everyone but never required. You’ll be supported and coached throughout any solo opportunities.

Each class is recorded- so if you miss a class in person, you don’t lose momentum.

Cohorts are kept small and thoughtfully curated for student growth. Most will be comprised of 4 - 6 people.

Yes- as much as you’d like it to be! There is no pressure to be social outside of class, but every class we have a mid class tea break to get to know each other. Students who are interested are also encouraged to meet at a nearby pub we designate after class. (:
